Methven Resort

Spent 2 nights at a lovely place, exactly what we were looking for with accommodating and pleasant local staff.

The food was decent with variety of choice! The setting was fantastic, near centre Methven and town centre and central Methven's restaurants / ski hire / grocery stores. The staff members were cordial and welcoming.

Great quality and perfect place with particularly good views of street.

The room had everything I needed, like a comfy queen bed, in-room wifi, and a mini-fridge. It felt cozy and convenient for my low-budget travel style.

The curtains in my room were a bit thin, letting in too much light at night.

Lovely building and rooms with a bathtub. Magnificent location adjacent to Methven and eateries and central Methven's restaurants/ski hire/grocery stores and welcoming and very welcoming staff.

The service here is fantastic, they have on-site parking, the breakfast is above average and amazing with a variety of food and drinks, and it's conveniently located near the Blue Pub.

The breakfast here was really good, with a nice view. I also enjoyed all the food. the rooms were awesome - they were new and cozy, with a fireplace and a separate bedroom. I thought that was a cool feature! 🔥

A Culinary Journey Like No Other

The impressive menu at this hotel took my taste buds on a culinary journey like no other. From the rich flavors of the local Kiwi favorites to the delightful international dishes, every bite was a delightful surprise. It's like having a Michelin-starred restaurant right at your doorstep.

the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. From providing ice for my husband's snowboard injury, to accommodating my children's request to play pool by turning on the lights, and even escorting me to the laundry room, their service was exceptional. We particularly loved the spa pools. the bed was comfortable, the room spacious, and we appreciated the good heating and convenient drying space for our snow equipment.

It was just a quick walk to many great restaurants, making it easy for us to explore the town. the communal areas were well-maintained and provided plenty of comfortable seating. Our room was clean and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. the breakfast was delicious, providing a variety of options that we enjoyed.

The hotel's location was excellent, being very close to the township as well as being situated on the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were quite spacious and clean, and we particularly appreciated the bathtub in our room, allowing us to relax after a long day. Additionally, the breakfast had a great view, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

Great atmosphere at the hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent selection of beer and rugby was showing on the big screen. We appreciated the staff's help and kindness, from offering ice for an injured husband to escorting us to the laundry.
